Stomper Hyperion 5 is a pretty basic old-school and fun (to me anyway but maybe that is because of nostalgia :-), it still creates good sounds) software program created by Master Zapp. You can download it here for free:

(I run windows 10 and it works fine)

I have used sine, square, triangle and saw waves, sometimes added some noise and sometimes I've used two oscilators together. I played with different and multiple or no filters on top and also filters in a row. And played with other settings like modulation, etc. All sounds are C notes. I've used C0 to C4. In some samples the sound drops from one C note to a lower C note. A few samples are 48 khz but most are 22 khz. After I rendered the samples I used Audacity to cut unwanted long silence or add silence at the end of the sample to get rid of click sounds that happen because of the low frequencies. That's the only thing I did with Audacity. All clicks you still hear are generated by Stomper Hyperion 5 and part of the sound.
